Heavy-Duty Rear Fuel Tank Crossmember Replacement Kit for 2007–2014 Chevy/GMC 1500

This replacement kit is specifically designed to address one of the most common structural issues in 2007–2014 Chevy and GMC 1500 trucks—the failure of the rear fuel tank crossmember. In many cases, this issue only becomes visible once the fuel tank is removed.

Unlike the original OEM design and many aftermarket alternatives, this kit features a robust 2" heavy-wall square tube construction, offering significantly greater strength and durability compared to the thin-wall 3" round tubing used in the factory frame and most replacement options.

The kit includes pre-welded crossmember brackets, reducing installation time and complexity. The only exception is a 4" section of the exhaust hanger, which must be salvaged from the original crossmember. This kit uses 7-gauge steel brackets for the shock mount, fuel tank strap mounts, and exhaust hanger—thicker and stronger than OEM components or competing kits.

Also included are loose frame plates for the inner, outer, and bottom sections of the frame, providing additional reinforcement where it matters most.
