Jeep 4.0 Oil Pan Skid Plate

Heavy duty skid plate that covers the lower portion of the Jeep 4.0 oil pan. Skid plate robotically welded.  Made of 7 gauge hot-rolled steel this skid plate can protect your vulnerable oil pan from rocks, dirt and other objects. Also very handy when working on your Jeep, this skid plate can be used as an easy jack point if needing to remove the transmission or other items.

Skid plate comes powdercoated flat black.

Will fit most Jeep 4.0s, in some limited cases the starter might need to be loosened or removed to install the skid plate and then the starter reinstalled.  Similarly for the exhaust, in rare cases the exhaust might need loosened to install. 

Will not fit 03-06 Jeep TJs with Automatic Transmission.
